Who Are We?
Our Mission: Maranatha exists by God's grace to equip the youth in Tenth Presbyterian church to grow as a community of authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.
Key Verse: And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52)
Vision: We will celebrate the supremacy of Christ and Sufficiency of His Word in all areas of life and practice. We will have character building relationships. We will teach the Bible in such a way as to nurture both heart and mind in the enjoyment of God and pursuit of his glory.
Goals
- Wisdom: We will provide teaching that is increasingly gospel centered and application oriented in its content.
- Stature: We will increasingly look outward and become more inclusive to encourage the growth of our community and the extension of Christ's kingdom.
- Favor with God: We will become increasingly accountable to each other in faithfully following Christ in order to model his love to the youth.
- Favor with Man: We will increasingly build Christ centered relationships with the youth through intentional prayer and follow-up.
